Appraising market and financial feasibility of development options

Claus was appointed by the City of Cape Town to serve as property economist on a Zutari-led team tasked with developing a concept and conducting pre-feasibility studies for a strategic land parcel in Bellville CBD. Claus’s role included detailed market and financial feasibility analysis of alternative development options, incorporating a mix of land preparation and grading, affordable and market housing, street-front retail, structured parking, and shared public space such as landscaping, gardens, and recreational areas.
